I am presently enjoying working on a small kitchen splashback in a traditional Roman mosaic laying technique. It is built of matt porcelain tile, first fixed onto fibreglass mesh then will be cement fixed in situ. The theme is "the mouse gets the cheese and nobody will steal it from him". I will post more pictures as the work progresses (not sure about the shadow under the mouse's tail, I am considering a space between the shadow and the actual tail ANY THOUGHTS? Let me know ...)
